Before the age of the internet, I read the Bible twice from cover to cover and began to find inconsistencies. You can now find a lot of them by searching Google, but please consider this:

And it literally says, “so it was thought.” Not, this is a fact.

And it can’t be a fact…because as far as christians are concerned, Jesus wasn’t conceived by Joseph.

Jesus came into being, supposedly, by God impregnating Mary.

The only ancestral tree that connects Jesus to anyone is that of his mother, and that’s not what any of the Bibles say. They include the list you include here, which is completely baseless, because Joseph is “not” his father.

I imagine that will be “fixed” at some point, similar to “corrections” I’ve seen between one version to another, in just the few years between editions I have, like the update from the copy I have from 1989 where it says, “…she will be given the bitter water….that will make her womb discharge and her uterus drop,” that says in the 2005 version I have, “she will be given the bitter water…that will make her womb swell and her thigh shall fall away.”

There are more examples. I hope you will continue to compare versions so you can see what is actually happening.
